Randall Welch, President and CEO of Southern Heritage Bank along with Johnny Snow, Vice President of Mortgage Lending accepted the “Charity Award$ Challenge” and partnered with the correspondent lending division (CLD) of Envoy Mortgage, LTD. to become an Ambassador to the Central Louisiana communities they serve!

On January 26, 2016 Dan Hastings, Executive Vice President and Beverly Jordan, Vice President & Regional Account Manager from Envoy Mortgage, together with Johnny Snow, his Mortgage Lending team, and Bank President, Randall Welch will present a check for $7,500 to the Food Bank of Central Louisiana. Please join us at 10:30 A.M., Southern Heritage Bank’s Alexandria Branch location at 5211 Jackson Street, Ext.

Participating in the “Charity Award$ Challenge” hosted by Envoy Mortgage’s Correspondent Lending Division and successfully achieving the company’s Bronze Level, the Central Louisiana based Financial Institution, Southern Heritage Bank, earned a lofty $7,500 to donate in their charity of choice!

The Correspondent Lending Division at Envoy created a challenge that was simple but also gave the opportunity for correspondent lenders to give back to their communities. If an approved lender of Envoy CLD funded or exceeded the Bronze Level in a calendar year, Envoy Mortgage would donate $7,500 on the lenders behalf to a qualified 501(c)3 charity of the lenders choice.

Southern Heritage Bank’s Mortgage Division, managed by Johnny Snow, gladly accepted and met the challenge in 2015. “The idea behind the “Charity Award$ Challenge” was to recognize how volume and margin compression effect today’s independent mortgage banker”, says Todd Potter, CMB – SVP Sales at Envoy Correspondent. “With the escalating costs of originating loans, owners are forced to make difficult decisions within their budgets. Reducing or eliminating their contributions to the communities that they live and serve are sometimes the first to go, but they should be the last resort. Being a good business partner involves investing in each other, every day.”

Just another way the Correspondent Lending Division of Envoy Mortgage is creating innovative partnerships, one lender at a time.
